Juggling Balls/Lavender Bags

Method:

- cut out 4 ovals with a point at either long end (eye shape)

- put 2 ovals front to front and back stitch down 1 long side, from point to point, 1cm away from the edge

- sew another oval to the edge of one previous oval, also front to front

- sew the 4th oval in the same fashion

- last side, sew 3/4 of the way down, and loosely mattress stitch the last 1/4 so the shape can flipped inside out through the gaps (don't lose the end of the thread during flipping)

- fill the bag with a combo of rice, lavender, stuffing - use a funnel for ease

- pull the final thread to tighten the last mattress stitches, and tie off and bury the thread within the ball

- give the ball a good throw to make sure no rice is falling out then sew up any accidental gaps.
