Sidmouth 2024
The Showcase...
In 2024, Shooting Roots took a walk down memory lane in a time-travelling tent! To celebrate 30 years of our organisation, the party-goers went back in time to collect the best parts from each festival from over the years. From morris dancing with the T-Birds and Pink Ladies in the 50s, to going to the folky arcade in the 80s, we were able to bring back enough folky spirit to celebrate our birthday in style!! And we made sure we had enough time to Macarena the night away!

The Showcase...
In 2023, disguised aliens invaded a train headed for Sidmouth Folkweek, causing a heap of problems for the festival goers! After some dramatic chases, and terrifying scenes, the festival goers realise the only way to identify the aliens amongst them would be to hold the ultimate dance battle... everyone knows aliens can't morris dance! Despite the aliens' mighty loss, they enjoy the dancing so much that they get everyone back on track to Sidmouth... and even join them on their visit.

Sidmouth 2016

The Showcase...
In 2016, Shooting Roots went way back in time. The adventurers met cavemen, victorian lords and ladies and many more interesting characters along the way. To do this, the adventurers used a time machine that shouts "like a banana!" upon its arrival in a new era!
